Do you provide child care services?

No, ASD does not provide child care services. If you are looking for child care services, please check with your hotel for recommendation.

Will there be a designated line for badge pick-up for disabled or handicapped attendees?

Yes, disabled or handicapped attendees can go to badge will-call terminal located in the Grand Lobby within Central Hall of the LVCC to pick up their badge(s). If you cannot locate the counter, please ask any member of our show staff for assistance.

American Disabilities Act

Emerald Expositions is committed to compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act. In accordance with the ADA rules, attendees requiring specific aids or services must contact ASD in writing at least two weeks prior to the start date of any ASD tradeshow. Are there wheelchair and scooter rentals available at the show?

Yes. Scootaround is the exclusive scooter and wheelchair rental service of ASD. To reserve your equipment, call toll free 1.888.441.7575 or reserve online. Scootaround is located at the FedEx Office located in both the Central and South Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center. For wheelchair accessible shuttles, attendees must call 310.466.6532 at least 60 minutes prior to desired pick up time. This service is available from 8:00 a.m.-6:30 p.m. and is only offered from hotels on our six shuttles routes.

How do I maximize my participation at the show and reach more buyers?

I am a current exhibitor. How do I obtain a Visa letter invitation from the SourceDirect Show?

I am a current exhibitor. When can I break down my booth?

4 p.m. on the LAST DAY of the show. Early booth breakdown is strictly prohibited. Due to an increase in complaints from buyers and exhibitors on this issue, SourceDirect is committed to eliminating these practices from the show floor on the final day of the trade show. An exhibitor is in violation of early breakdown if they start to break down their booth, remove product from their shelves, box up product and are unable to conduct business in their booth PRIOR TO 3 P.M. on the last day of the show. Show management will assess a fine to first time violators in the amount of US $500, 2nd time violators will be fined $1,000 and 3rd time violators will forfeit opportunity to participate in the show. Companies in violation of this policy are jeopardizing their booth location for future shows and the fine must be paid prior to being able to reserve space in subsequent shows. Please keep this in mind when making staffing decisions and travel arrangements for the final day of the show.

I am a current exhibitor. How do I register for an exhibitor badge for myself and/or staff to get access to the show floor?

Once exhibitor registration is open, you must register each member of your staff who will need access to the show floor. Pre-Registration does not guarantee immediate entry into the Show. Each employee will need to have personal identification (driver’s license with photo or passport) and personal business identification (personalized business card, W2 form, or cancelled payroll check) to confirm entrance into the exhibit floor and to pick up their badge. Please note there will be no exceptions to this rule. Your badge(s) are the property of SourceDirect and the ASD show, and are non-transferable and may be revoked at any time. There will be a fee of $100 to replace a misplaced or lost badge. Your badge will only be reprinted once at the Show. Please note that if you misplace your badge you are jeopardizing the security of the show.

What are the Show floor restrictions?

  • Trade only event – not open to the general public, a person must be a qualified buyer to attend.
  • There is a non-refundable onsite registration fee of $40 to those who have not pre-registered.
  • IMPORTANT SHOW POLICY: Product(s) may not be removed from the show floor until 3 p.m. on the last day of the show. No exceptions. Please make your travel plans accordingly.
  • No strollers or wheeled bags (larger than 18″ H x 12″ W) on the show floor at any time.
  • No one under the age of 16 years of age is allowed on the show floor at any time. No exceptions.
  • No camera/video recorders at any time.
  • No smoking.
  • Attendee hereby releases Emerald Expositions from any and all liability, claims, lawsuits, damages, losses, costs and expenses of any kind which arise out of/or result from attendee’s attendance at the event, whether or not foreseeable, including without limitation, personal injuries to exhibitor or his/her invitees.

Are hotel discounts being offered?

YES! ASD negotiates special hotel rates for our trade show. We encourage you to book your hotel at one of our official hotels. Note that ASD runs a free shuttle from our official hotels to the convention center on a daily basis to transport you back and forth to the show. When will I receive my badge?

BADGES WILL NOT BE MAILED. You must print and bring your confirmation page to the show site to print out your badge. Just like you do at the airline when you print your boarding pass.

How will I know I am registered?

Once you register online you will receive an automated email confirmation to confirm your registration. This confirmation will be sent to the email address you provided so it is very important for us to have your direct email address so you can receive your confirmation. If you register by fax or mail, you will only receive an email confirmation if you have completed all the required demographics and provided an email address. Please note: Allow up to 2 weeks for fax or mail registrations.

What are the registration requirements?

To be qualified as a buyer you must provide a business license or sales tax ID# to prove you can purchase wholesale goods.If you are registering onsite you will need to pay a $40 onsite registration fee and provide at least 2 of the following documents:

  • Business license or Tax ID #
  • Business card
  • Resale certificate
  • Company check or company credit card

I am an exhibitor at the ASDMARKETWeek show but want to source from SourceDirect. Do I need to register as a buyer also?

No. Your current exhibitor show badge will allow you access to the SourceDirect show floor to buy from the vendors of SourceDirect.

Is there a cost to attend the show?

There is no cost to attend as a qualified Buyer if you register before the show opens. There is however, an onsite registration fee for those buyers who wait and register onsite of $40.

Who can attend the show?

This is a Trade only event – qualified buyers and industry professionals only. This show is NOT open to the public. SourceDirect is a wholesale business to business marketplace. As this is a place of business, no one under the age of 16 is allowed on the show floor, no exceptions.

Do I have to re-register after each show since you already have my contact information?

Yes. In order to receive a badge confirmation email for the current show, you must register for the current show. Re-registering is simple. Click “Register to Attend” to get started. Your information will pre-populate once you log into the system. Please confirm that your information is correct and pre-register for a show badge to avoid the on-site registration fee.

I have already registered for ASD MARKETWeek. Do I need to re-register separately for SourceDirect?

No. There is no separate registration for SourceDirect. Your ASD badge will get you into both the ASD & SourceDirect show.

How do I register for SourceDirect?

SourceDirect does not have its own registration portal. There is no separate registration for SourceDirect if you have already registered for ASD MARKETWeek. Your ASD badge will get you into SourceDirect. If you need to register for the show, click “Register to Attend” to begin your registration. If registration happens to be closed for the current show, you can sign up to receive an email reminder from ASD MARKETWeek once registration is open.

Where is the SourceDirect located?

Held twice a year, SourceDirect runs is co-located next to ASD MARKETWeek at the Las Vegas Convention Center, North hall.

Is SourceDirect a section within the ASD Show?

No. SourceDirect is a separate show from ASD MARKETWeek. The show runs concurrent to ASD MARKETWeek and is co-located next to the ASD show at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
